Vanuatu, South Pacific Ocean
Duane & Janet Abuhl
Duane and Janet Abuhl are missionaries in Vanuatu, a collection of islands in the South Pacific. Since 2003, they've been sharing the message of Jesus, starting churches and training local leaders. They've established churches in Luganville and Mota Lava, with a national pastor leading the one in Luganville. In 2008, they built a Bible-Training Center on Ambae Island to help locals grow spiritually. They've also completed another training center in the northern Banks Islands. Their goal is to teach people about God, even those who haven't had formal Bible training.

Mark and Jill Cable have been missionaries in Romania for 17 years, focusing on training Romanians for ministry. Mark teaches at two Bible colleges and serves as an assistant pastor, while Jill handles finances and administration. Their son Daniel helps with youth leadership and worship. They also host short-term mission teams. They face challenges balancing ministry demands in a bureaucratic environment. They primarily work with Romanians seeking theological education and ministry training. They ask for prayers for their students' future ministry and effective communication of a discipleship vision.
